Quintec is a specialty fungicide with a unique mode of action (FRAC Group 13) formulated to protect high-value crops from powdery mildew and, where labeled, to suppress certain bacterial spot diseases. It works primarily as a protectant, forming a surface-mobile barrier that redistributes after application to help cover hard-to-reach foliage and is often used in resistance-management programs by alternating with fungicides of different modes of action. Quintec fits well into integrated disease management strategies for crops like grapes, cucurbits, strawberries, peppers, and other susceptible hosts.
